My sympathies to Leona’s family for your loss. A few years ago, my mother Barbara MacMillan, suffered from dementia and lived at the same residence. Leona was always so patient and kind to Barbara and made her feel at home. Thanks, Leona!

My sincere sympathy to the families. I am sad to see her go--we jokingly called each other "favourite sisters-in-law." She will be missed by The Townships Grandmothers (part of Stephen Lewis Foundation.) for whom she was a faithful thank-you letter writer.
