A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held this coming summer. Notification will be posted closer to the date. Personal Tributes may be posted on the site listed below.
It’s with much heaviness of heart that we announce the passing of our loving beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt Sharon Lyons.
Sharon left us peacefully on December 19th, 2022, at the Brome Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital in Cowansville, Quebec. She was 80 years old. Sharon was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband Alan George Bailey and her parents Joseph Lyons and Bernice McMahon.
She will be immensely and forever missed by her children Shelley and Brian Bailey, beloved grandchildren Oliver and Hannah and son-in-law Emmanuel. Sharon is survived by her best friend and sister Carol Lyons, her niece Tammy Dudley, spouse Stephane Wightman, children Alissa, Megan and Matthew as well as nephew Kevin Dudley, spouse Melanie Laporte and children Kayla, Kelsey, Chloe, Taylor and Hailee.
Sharon was a great friend to many, who always welcomed people to her home with an open door, a seat at the kitchen table and an attentive ear.
Sharon was an innate caregiver, who loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She was renowned for her cooking skills and loved knitting. Many of us were fortunate to have been gifted a pair of “Nana” socks to keep us warm.
She will be profoundly missed and remembered for her warm and welcoming spirit, quick witted sense of humour, and compassion.
We hope that you are up there laughing and dancing with Al playing his steel guitar, in his heavenly band.

Sad to hear Sharon passed away, we use to spend a lot of time at the hockey arena back in the day when Rob and Brian played sports. .She will be missed.
