My sincerest sympathies to the Miller family. Steve I'm sure was so proud looking down yesterday and seeing what a wonderful send off you all gave him and i believe sent you an approval as the train departed from the station as his beautiful girl sang a song in his tribute. Sophie and cindy you both did your Dad so proud.Chris and Ron your memories reminded all of us what a great men your brother is. Patriicia an Joyce Steve was the salt of the earth and any one that didn't like Steve ( which i knew none) there had to be something wrong with them.Your were both very fortunate to have him as a son and a life partnerand he bith of you. I will never forget when i decided to change carrers years ago Steve was the only one who that supported me and believed i could do it.He even gave me a book to help. His enthusiasm and support made all the difference and i will be grateful to him forever.I'm so glad i expressed that to him in recent years. I got my dog Angel (Who was my Angel)from him who i believe was the runt of the litter that Steve nursed by bottle feeding her.I saw the kindness in his heart making sure she survived and that she did until the age of 17 which briught so much joy to my life.He even offered to pay for a vet bill when i first took her in. I have no doubt that there is a special place above for you Steve. I hope to join one day but want to be on your hockey team this time and not playing against you as in this life as your elbows i never appreciated. God bless you. Rob Mcintish.

We met Steve and Joyce soon after I became rector of Dunham/Frelighsburg and that friendship was a beautiful thing. Steve was loved as a brother and I have great memories of the many things we did: the annual christmas tree, nights at the various lodges to name a few. Steve was one of the kindest, most generous and loveable guys that I ever met. Together, he and Joyce were a beautiful couple. I will miss him but he will always be in our hearts. Play among the stars Steve.

I heard about Steve passing in Singapore within a few hours of him leaving us. This is how well known Steve was in the community . He was a Good Man and a Friend. When our Nick passed away many years ago Steve was there in a heartbeat and we never would have been able to pay tribute to him without the help of Steve! We played Golf often. Him and his 90 degree slice he "Played Perfectly"...Was always joking and fun to be around. He truly will be missed. RIP my Friend. Play some more Golf with Nick ?

Dear Joyce & Family - I really don't know the words to express our profound sympathy to you and your family; Steve and you were so close to us years back - late 1990's - when I was DR and DDGM. Your kindness and assistance will never be forgotten. We all have so many fond memories that will stay with us forever and we must be thankful for that. Margaret joins me in extending our thoughts and prayers to you all at this profoundly sad time. I know Steve will be free of his troubles now and will be finally relieved of his pains. May God be with you all and bless you.

To Joyce, and the entire Miller family, our sincere sympathies on the passing of Steve. Words cannot convey our sorrow. As you know, we were playing music with Steve not long ago, and he was his wisecracking, fun self, in our rehearsal room at Al's. And for us to not have that again will be a large hole in our lives. We have come to admire him greatly, and to smile in his presence on many occasions, and to listen to his years of musical ability whether he was playing with ''The Cavemen'', or his other multitude of bands, on stage, or simply jamming. His love and knowledge of music was apparent and deep. So sorry Joyce, and Family. We will miss him greatly !
