Suddenly passed away at his residence of Sutton, Qc, on November 23rd, 2016, at the age of 62, loving husband of Mrs. Jannie De Vries.

He leaves to mourn his daughters Karina and Célestine, his sisters Claude and Marcelle (Anthony), his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bert, Ida, Hiltje, Erik, Huib and Mathÿs, his cousin Renée, his nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends.

I would like to express my sincere condolences to Pierre?s many loved ones. I did not know Pierre as an adult but grew up a few doors down from the Rioux family, who were our best friends, so I knew him during our childhood. To us kids, Pierre was incredibly unpredictable, imaginative and creative. He always came up with amazing ideas to entertain us kids, and the Rioux property was by far the most fun place in Sutton! Pierre?s ?Spook Shows?, which he created in the loft of their barn, were a mixture of Cecil B. DeMille and Boris Karloff ? scary yet irresistible. Pierre was truly an original soul and we are all the better for having known him.

I knew Pierre when I was growing up in Sutton and going to school with his sister Marcelle. He had that crazy truck of his that all of us thought so cool. I always looked up to him and am extremely saddened to hear that he has left this world so soon. My deepest condolences to all his family.
