Friday, April 28th, 2017, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Saturday, April 29th, starting at 11 a.m.
A celebration of his life will follow at the Complex at 1 p.m.
Passed away suddenly, on April 21st, 2017, at his home in Sutton Junction, QC, at the age of 78.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 35 years, Doreen Crook, his children: Lisa (Darol), Elsworth (Rita), Jeffrey (Linda), and Tammy (Charlie), many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Stanley was born to Leroy and Mildred Kirby of East Hill, QC, the 12th of 13 children. He is also survived by his brother, Norman Kirby (Mina), of Ontario. Stanley will be mourned by his many nieces and nephews, extended family and a large community of friends.
Stanley took great pride in his work and owned a painting and contracting business servicing the Brome Lake area for more than 40 years. In addition, he served as a volunteer firefighter for Lac Brome and was a life long member of the Independent Order of the Odd Fellows.
In his memory, a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Canada Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family. Forms available at the Complex or online at www.fibrosekystique.ca

I remember Stanley so well. He spent time at my father's place in Brome working his magic. The conversation was always lively and humorous. Russell had alot of respect for him.
