Passed away peacefully at la Maison Au Diapason in Bromont, on December 8, 2017, at the age of 84, loving husband of Mrs. Irma Côté (née Stechl), resident of Knowlton, QC.
He leaves to mourn his daughters Karen and Lorraine (Paul Garrett), his son Anthony; his grandchildren, Matthew (Francesca), Kyle, Quinn, Valerie (Sean), Daniel (Daniella), Philip (Chantal), his sisters, Therese and Claude; his brother Henri (Katherine); his great grandchildren, Amelia and Ash; his brother-in-law Manfred (Johanne); his sister-in-law Ulrike; his nieces and nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
He also leaves behind many friends in the Knowlton branch of the Lions, Tour des Arts and the Gurdjieff Foundation of Montreal and all those he touched in his lifetime. He will be sorely missed. Roger was a devoted father, husband and grandfather who never missed a fieldtrip with his grandchildren, who, after retiring from insurance took up crafting fine stained glass works full-time with his partner, artist in residence, his wife Irma.
A special thanks to Dr. Barakett and to nurses at the CLSC and the doctors, staff and volunteers of La Maison Au Diapason for their compassionnate and loving care.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donation to La Maison Au Diapason or the SPCA Monteregie animal shelter..
