Le samedi 11 mai 2019 à compter de 13h00, suivi d’un court Service Maçonnique à 14h00, et des funérailles célébrées par le Révérend David Lambie.
Une réception suivra à la Salle Odd Fellows Hall de Knowlton.
L’inhumation en privé se tiendra vers 16h00 au Cimetière Union de Cowansville où seuls famille et amis proches sont invités.
Paisiblement à l’Hôpital BMP de Cowansville, le 23 février 2019, à l’âge de 99 ans, est décédé M. William Raymond McClay.
Il laisse dans le deuil sa fille Barbara A. McClay, son petit-fils Robert B. Rooney de Niagara Falls, Ontario; sa nièce Lynne McClay de Turo, Nouvelle-Écosse et son neveu Larry McClay de Woodstock, Ontario.
Il laisse également derrière lui plusieurs autres parents et amis.
En guise de sympathie, un don commémoratif à l’Église Unie Creek, ou à un organisme de votre choix serait apprécié.

I remember Uncle Raymond growing up as a child and as an adult. He was the brother of my father Douglas McClay. In latter years I was lucky to know him on a more personal level. He had many accomplishments as stated. What we shared together was our love of books and he was so open minded about so many subjects that I had so much respect for his thoughts that he shared with me. He was a gentle and kind soul and I admired him greatly and have fond memories. Condolences to Barbara and her son Bobby.

I remember Mr McClay very fondly - I used to take my great grandfathers cuckoo clock to him to get it cleaned and oiled etc every few years - A very kind and gentle soul. RIP Raymond
